A highlight at the Interpack is the latest development of our form, fill and seal machine (FFS) LMS 124 to produce 240 stand-up pouches per minute for 100 ml filling and with center spout.

By integrating the ULTRA-CLEAN technology into the multi-station machines LMS 120 LP and LMS 124 LP SN tackles this challenge with German efficiency.

With an output capacity of 120, 240 and 500 pouches per minute SN presents further three new machine generations for hot-filling of fruit purée and other liquids. Hot-filling makes the costly pasteurizing downstream redundant.

With the LIQUID POUCH Technology SN now offers highly efficient FFS-machines for hot-filling liquid products into pouches at 95°C, opening up the market for everyone.

In order to optimize sterility and shelf-life of the filling good, the film can be sterilized by UV-radiation during the pouch making process. The filling good is supplied via CIP-compatible pumps which can completely be cleaned without dismantling.

With the FM 300/400, SN sets its own record for grated cheese. This was previously 120 pouches (200g) per minute. The FM 300/400 delivers 150-180, which is possible because 3 bags can now be produced per machine cycle even in this format.

SN experts will therefore be taking part in 4 trade fairs: FachPack in Nuremberg will kick things off from September 25 to 27, followed by Taropak in Poland and Macropak in Holland, both at the beginning of October. And bag packaging technology “Made in Germany” will also be represented at one of the largest international trade fairs, PackExpo in Chicago: SN machines will be on display there from October 28 to 31.
